He has made radio broadcast appearances on The Candy Store, WNYU, 89.1 FM and Deeper Than Disco, WHCR, 90.3 FM and between his busy schudule does a live internet radio broadcast on Cyberjamz.com. Due to Lou's music selection and the Ash vibe, he and the Ashe' party was featured in a
European magazine called, "Vibrations" in 2002.
Lou Gorbea works with DJs of world renown, such as Jellybean Benitez, Louie Vega, Marlon D, Victor Simonelli, Kevin Hedge, Frankie Feliciano, Quentin Harris, Ron Trent, Victor Rosado and Mr. V. Entertainers such as Anane', Michelle Weekes, Sarah Divine (Sony Recordings), K.T. Brooks, Osualdo "Bembesito" Lora, keyboard player, Albert Menendez (Sterling Productions), guitarist Mike Ciro, percussionist, Nick Laboy, Jephte, Quentin Harris and many others who have made their "mark" in our music industry and community.
He remixed an original track called "Paradise" which sold the track to record company called Deepa. He produced original tracks which were release in 2005, such as "Luv 4 Money" (Vega Records), "A Journey Into" (Coco Soul) and co-produced, Louie Vega's "Steel Conga" (Vega Records) and "Walking On Thin Ice" featuring Anane' (Vega Records).
Lou Gorbea makes many guest appearances in NYC, New Jersey and internationally. He entertains on a regular basis with residents, Jellybean Benitez and Marlon D. for NYC's deepest house music event, "Ain't Nuthin' But A House Party". He recently made a guest appearance at Pacha NYC.
Lou worked his magic at the 2006 WMC at Bobby & Steve and Shuji from Soundmen On Wax "Soul On The Beach", Ashe' NYC & Good People Ent. "Seventh Heaven" and "Ain't Nuthin' But A House Party". Was invited as a guest dj @ One Happy Cloud - Athens, Greece
